A lot of times things come out of the dishwasher still wet, so we put glasses, cups, etc on this item. I like that you can move the branches all over. I can put huge cups on it, a heavy thermos (big) all sizes of big drink holders. Our family drinks a lot so we always use large drink holders. It is easy to take apart and wash/rinse off and set it right back down and keep on using it. No issues at all.
