My kiddo "helped" me put this together. It was pretty easy. She loves it, uses it all the time. She just turned two, a bit tall and skinny, but even when she throws her body against the edge and rocks it, it seems stable enough that I'm not worried she'll fall over.This was so easy to put together and also to adjust the height. My granddaughter loves to help in the kitchen and this is perfect. She feels safe while using the stool. It’s not easy for her to move from place to place but that just ensures she won’t use it without supervision.It was easy to put together and comes with everything you need to assemble. The curve helps the kid get in on and off the tower. The style is not quite as dark as I normally go for but it looks nice. The reason for the 4 is that it is so light it is easily tipped over. He has almost fell a few times and did fall over once but my wife caught the tower. I am trying to figure out how to put something heavy on the bottom so that it won't tip sideways.I am only 5 feet tall and have a hard time reaching the cabinets in my kitchen because I have high ceilings and they are set fairly high up with multiple shelves that I cannot reach. In addition to being able to reach items in my closet because I have several shelves that go all the way to the ceiling that I have a hard time getting to. I came across this stepladder and thought that it would be great for me to reach new heights, lol. Unfortunately, the ladder came with broken pieces. While you do have to assemble the ladder, the pieces that are broken requires me to purchase wood glue, more dowels, and maybe replacement wood just to put it together.The pieces of wood are lightweight, once put together the ladder won’t be too heavy to move from space to space. The instructions unfortunately are not clear to follow so even with wanting to rig the ladder to put it together I was having a hard time trying to figure out how to put it together in the first place. If you get an unbroken ladder I think you will be satisfied.Nice for the price
